Lake Tahoe Sleigh Rides

Winter in Lake Tahoe is a magical time. Thick snow on the mountains combined with endless days of bright sunshine make for a perfect winter vacation, so it is hardly surprising that thousands of visitors come to the alpine resorts situated high in the mountains. As well as skiing, there are also dozens of other fun and exciting family activities to do at Lake Tahoe during the winter season.

Sleigh Rides are a wonderful experience for both families and couples. They are one of the oldest forms of snow travel and are tremendous fun for the whole family, or even romantic trip for you and your other half. You can take a gentle trip across the snowy trails on one of the exquisite European Sleighs, admiring the scenery and the spectacular lake views while snuggled beneath a thick woolen blanket. Imagine singing along to the beat of Jingle Bells while the horses dash through the snow like Santa’s reindeer. The sleigh driver will happily point out landmarks as you ride along and you will have plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the scenery during the trip.
