Lake Tahoe Fishing Guide
During the fabulous summer, Lake Tahoe is a great vacation destination for travelers looking to experience water based activities in a mountain setting. With clear, clean water and endless days of sun, fishing in the Lake Tahoe and its tributaries is very popular.
In the Lake itself, whilst fishing is generally more popular during the summer, it is available all year round. This is because, due to the depth of the water, the lake never freezes. The fishing season in the Truckee River is from 28th April through to 15th November. In the tributaries, the season runs from 1st July to 30th September and in the streams, it runs from 1st July to 15th November.
