2010 Lake Tahoe Music Festival -- Continue

This year’s line-up includes a dash of country music after the organizers took note of audience feedback last year. The special Country Music guest this year is the immensely talented, Wynonna, the woman Rolling Stone Magazine referred to as “the greatest female country singer since Patsy Cline”. With an endorsement like that, it would be a crying shame to miss such a treat! Wynonna will be adding some passionate rock and a bit of gusty R&B into her live show, making sure her show will be one her audience will not forget in a hurry.

There are also some extra special events this year, including an Opening Night Gala featuring Adbacadabra and two intimate Strictly Classical Concerts featuring the new Orchestra Academy, along with special guests Ariana Ghez and Jerry Grossman.

The Music Festival is being performed to benefit the Educational Outreach Program which includes the new Orchestra Academy and the Tahoe-Truckee Youth Music Program.

Tickets for Lake Tahoe’s Ultimate Music Festival are available from $25 to $63 per concert, depending on seating level and artist. Tickets range from general admission to pre-booked seating and chair rentals are available. Children under the age of 5 receive free admission. Gates open at 4.30pm for donors and sponsors. The general public are allowed in at 5pm and the concerts begin at 7pm. Tickets are available for purchase online via the event website, by phone, or in person from the Lake Tahoe Music Festival Office, 380 N. Lake Blvd. Tahoe City.

Concerts will take place at multiple venues throughout the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area and these include Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort, Old Greenwood, Tahoe Donner, West End Beach at Donner Lake, and Granlibakken Conference Centre. The end of season, invitation only party, will be held at Martis Camp.

It will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an evening of stars, while spending the evening beneath a magical canopy of stars
